Why the Taylor Swift-Kanye West VMA Reunion Never Happened
Taylor Swift may have been the one to kill her much-anticipated reunion with Kanye West at the 2010 VMAs.
E! Online reports that Taylor and Kanye were being pushed by MTV executives to do a duet together at Sunday's VMAs but the country-pop star rejected the idea.
Rumors of the two musicians' duet had been floating around for weeks leading up to the award show. Before the show, host Chelsea Handler told Ryan Seacrest that she was working on getting them together on stage but apparently her efforts didn't work out.
Kanye and Taylor both ended up performing at the VMAs but they each had separate solo performances. Taylor debuted a soulful new song inspired by the events with Kanye at the 2009 VMAs.
Meanwhile, Kanye performed the closing number for the show, in which he said he was saluting all the "douchebags."
According to E! Online, Kanye and MTV had been working on overdrive to convince Taylor to at least appear on stage with him but she didn't want anything to do with it. Kanye had written a lengthy apology to Taylor on his Twitter a few days before the show, perhaps in an effort to change her mind about the joint performance.
It was previously reported that Taylor was "terrified" of Kanye and was a nervous wreck before her performance because she thought he might storm the stage. Kanye never interrupted Taylor's performance and the song went off without a hitch.
Even if the two didn't give the public the VMA reunion they were yearning for the two stars were both able to give some rockin' performances on their own.
Even creepier trailer for Paranormal Activity 2
The trailers for Paranormal Activity 2 have creeped me out more than most entire horror movies have been able to. And as someone who lives for horror movies, that’s saying something. The latest trailer…where do I even begin? Let’s discuss the creepiest moments that I observed, shall we?
First of all, we get a view from the inside of a nursery in the middle of the night. There is a baby cooing and moving around inside of his crib. If a baby is involved, you know it will just go downhill quickly.
Next, we get various “camera views” throughout the house. The images that we see imply that something (or someone) is inside of the house that is not visible via the naked eye.
The trailer should really end there as far as I’m concerned, but alas… we’re back to the baby’s nursery and who do we see? It appears to be none other than Katie Featherson (from Paranormal Activity 1) standing in the doorway of the nursery. By the way, the character’s name is also the name of the actual actress!
This trailer is exactly like the previously released trailer, except for one thing…there is an “easter egg” featuring the baby in the crib at the very end; if the version embedded in this post does not display the extra footage, you may have to visit the movie website in order to view it. Be sure to use your mouse/keypad to get different angles of the room…if you’re that bold.
Shaq getting sued for hacking and trying to frame one of his employee!!
The NBA B-Ball player Shaquille O’Neal or better known as Shaq is being sued for computer hacking and destroying some evidence from his former IT assistance.
Shaq used his law enforcement contacts to obtain restricted information about one of his mistresses, Alexis Miller (aka rapper Mary Jane), while he was involved in a legal battle with her. The lawsuit alleges, that Shaq told his IT guy that Mary Jane had obtained a restraining order but he couldn’t remember what he had sent to her via text and email. He then asked the guy to retrieve every email and text message that he had sent to her as well as all of his phone records. After getting the information, they performed a “Defense Department type wipe of Shaq’s computer” and then threw the computer in a lake in the back of his home.
